As I continue to do.
I’m thinking of you both. What a hard, terrible time. I’m glad you have family and furry friends around you. You also have us. Sending virtual hugs.
She switched to palliative care today, so it is only a matter of time. Her sister and I spent 4 hours with her today, and got to say “I love you” a lot. She understood and said “I love you” back. But they are now giving her a morphine drip to control the pain, so she is sleeping and will pass in her sleep, I hope.
Said Goodbye.
I’m so sorry, silenus. Keeping both of you in my prayers.
I am so sorry you’re going through this.
Thinking of all the Covid casualties out there that didn’t get to say goodbye, and their families that were denied being with their loved ones when they passed, we are feeling very blessed (all things considered, I’d rather have taken a pass on the whole deal, but Inshallah.)
Again:
I am so sorry you are going through this.
I am so glad you can be there for her final days.
We will be here for you afterward.
Go do what you need to do. Know that even when you feel your weakest you will be strongest enough to do what you need to do for her. Tell you love her until the very end.
I am so sorry for all you’re going through
Sounds like she has a tremendous spirit.
Can I get a Mod to change the thread title?
At 5:45pm PDT on August 19, 2020 my lovely wife passed. She was in no pain and passed in her sleep. Her sister and I got 4 hours with her today, and got to say goodbye. She was the kindest soul I’ve ever met, and I am sure we will meet again.
I love you, Dee.
hugs Continued hopes for peace for you and your family and friends.
I flagged your post and asked a moderator to change the thread title for you.

Aw man, I’m sorry you’re feeling this pain and going through this loss. Thinking of you tonight.

I’ve been praying for her and for you daily. What a blessing to have had such a wonderful woman in your life. I’m so sorry you lost her. There’s no shortcut through grief, but you have us to come to whenever you need.
Your strength and pragmatism through this has been inspirational. #RIP
