Mystery songs, take a listen and maybe ID?

I give up. I can’t ID these three songs. Google has been no help. None of them have the correct artist or song, and in fact the later two were just labeled “unknown.” I’ve uploaded parts of them to my webpage for brave folks who want to take a stab at ID’ing them to listen to.

These won’t play well from what I’ve heard, but maybe well enough that someone knows what at least one of these three mystery songs are. I’m pretty certain that both 2 and 3 are by groups I know and I’ll kick myself for not being able to figure these out on my own.

  • I found this one in November of 2001, and have never been able to identify it. It claimed to be “again” by Jeremiah Freed, but isn’t. It’s possible it’s another JF track, but I have two of their CDs and it isn’t on either.

This one I got just this week.
lyrics: “can I get you to rise up from your knees/ dig yourself [up? out?] from the hole you’re inside.”
“wake yourself up before your time is over”

this one is dated Feb 2006.

I can’t understand most of the words, but I suspect it’s a decent song if you have a better file for it.

No idea. These probably aren’t nationally known bands right?

control-z, I’m not sure. They’re from ShoutCast internet radio stations (except the first one) so they could be nationally known indie bands, or complete unknowns depending on the whim of the persons airing the music.

update: I had to remove the samples, but I’ve figured out #2: Encidious “Dig Yourself Out”

Here’s some additional lyrics to #3, though a lot of them are still impossible to be sure of.
