Damn Anthracite, jump back! My side comment was a compliment to dantheman on the way I thought he handled his end of your “discussion.” Sorry if that upset you. Yes, I thought you were brusque, and no, I didn’t think he overreacted. I thought your third post was incredibly condescending, but what do I know?

The “Unholy Lesbian Vampire Army of the Night” part originated from a joke in a post I made long ago. It sprang fully-formed from my brow. Then, a few weeks later, andygirl had an ULVAN recruitment thread, and I became the Dark Queen. Fierra is my Dark Consort, andygirl is the Dark Princess**, and quietgirldownthehall was her Dark Consort. There were a few more titles thrown about in the lesbian orgy thread, where I posted quite a bit of lesbian erotica I wrote. So I started calling myself the “Grande Dame of Straight Dope Lesbian Erotica”.
The third part of my sig is a line from the chorus of the Geri Haliwell (Ginger Spice) song “Bag it Up”, which enjoyed a stay on the UK charts of about 0.00001 seconds.
AND, just in case,…I may soon add this line to my sig, replacing the Geri Haliwell one:
Which was a quote by my Fierra, referring to my creature “Anthracite” on Technospere, which I found out had 11 Children in one day! :eek:
Now - I want people to start posting mystifying sigs and/or explanations or I will start kicking asses and taking down names! 
And can someone get Rasa in here? Or whoever it is who is performing Raag Deesh while their omatidia explode or whatever. I scratch my head on that one every time.
Someday, when I’m up to the mental challenge, I’ll start a thread about my own sig, which I found in the March 2001 issue of Nature magazine. It just struck me as cool, ya know? Fab and gear, too, in a tubular kind of way.

edwino sent me a sound clip of him playing his sitar, and I remarked on how great it sounded. He also often discusses fruit fly eyeballs (omatidia) in chat, as he’s a mad scientist, so his reply to my compliment is what I quoted in my sig. I call him ween cuz I like to.
I just changed my sig again, this time the first part is something I found somewhere on the web that I got a kick out of. The “This post brought to you by the letter K” stays, cuz people seem to like it.
My fiance always looks at me like I’m weird when I’m grumbling about getting ready for work in the mornings; “Pants. Always have to wear pants. Every stinking day.” etc. I normally have nothing against pants, they just irritate me in the mornings, I guess.

Well, I understand that my sig (though it has garnered no attention) is pretty weird. The first part is normal, but then I have a quote

Well, Scott is my boyfriend, and I popped by his house one day when he was playing Populous (where you are a god and control little people) on an old game machine. I couldn’t tell from the piechart or whatever who was winning 'cause it all looked black. I asked him why I couldn’t tell, and then he replied that quote.
I thought it was the funniest thing since the platypus, and I was looking for a new sig at the time.
Seeing as mine’s in Latin, I figure most folks have no idea. Hell, I didn’t until it was translated for me. It means, approximately, “Don’t let the bastards get you down.” And it was a present to me from Polycarp, as noted…an encouragement , if you will.
