I don’t think you’d ever get confirmed + plausible. I’m pretty there was one of the Hollywood myths that was just baaaaarely plausible to the point that it was nearly busted. The net result was that Adam wanted to call it Plausible because there was a slim chance it could happen and Jaime was for Busted because it was astronomically unlikely.
Can’t remember what myth it was, though.
The myth about a bullet falling out of the sky and killing someone was all three.
One “Hollywood” myth that I remember having a very fuzzy resolution was “Can a cigarette light a pool of gasoline on fire?” They found cigarettes are only (just barely) hot enough to ignite gasoline if they are being actively smoked, so plausible, but only in the most perfect of conditions (and not the usual Hollywood style of flicking a lit cigarette into gasoline). But I don’t remember if that was what JSexton was thinking where Adam and Jamie argued Plausible/Busted to a draw.
I’ve never seen them disagree on myths that were clearly busted. Theres been a few times where the myth was plausible only in the most extreme and unique set of circumstances. One mythbuster says failed and the other says plausible.
One example is the true story of Serbian flight attendant Vesna Vulovic.
The MB’s couldn’t recreate a scenario where she survived.** I think** that resulted in a split vote. Can’t recall for sure.
Well, that was because there were three different versions of the myth. it wouldn’t happen if you shot straight up, due to the terminal velocity of the bullet. But no one shoots perfectly straight up, meaning it now has horizontal velocity. But, of course, that means it’s unlikely to kill the shooter.

Jamie never seemed that invested in the Plausible/Busted segment of the show. I’d guess he acquiesced and agreed with Adam most of the time. Feeling it wasn’t worth arguing about. But who knows, there might have been a time or two that Jamie wouldn’t change his vote.
