Okay, here’s something I vaguely remember from watching something on Animal Planet about these buggers. Tell me if I have this mistaken:

They can chew through concrete, so they can be hard to confine. Basically, they have to have concrete-covered steel in zoo enclosures.

In searching the web, I never found that, but I did find this, that backs it up:

Designed for digging, 25 percent of the naked mole-rat’s muscle mass is in its jaw – the same percentage humans have in each leg. These rodents could easily out-chew humans; we have only 1 percent of muscle mass in the jaws.

On the show Kim Possible there is a animla called a naked mole rat.
My son claims there is really an animal like this.
This is the place to come to find out.

Actually, the Kim Possible web site is probably the place. They used to have naked mole rat link there. Rufus isn’t nearly as ugly as those things are. Those things burrowed under the ugly tree and hit every root.
