Name a figure associated with World War I

-Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia
-First Sea Lord Jacky Fisher
-David Lloyd George
-Helmuth von Moltke
-Rasputin
-Alexander Izvolsky

A lot of people don’t know that Rasputin strongly advised the Tsar against going to war. He predicted a war would cause Russia’s collapse. Unfortunately, it was one of the few occasions in which Nicholas ignored Rasputin’s advice.

Um, why are so many people naming World War Two figures?

True, but he’s still associated with the war.

Another one I’ll add is Walther Schwieger, who was the commander of the U-boat that sank the Lusitania.

My first thought is “Vera Brittain,” then I think of the poets, and I’ll add Robert Graves. And Erich Maria Remarque.

But I think of Archduke Ferdinand, Gavrilo Princip, Pershing, all the people involved in the Bolshevik Revolution, plus Lloyd George, the Red Baron, Bismarck, Mata Hari, Kaiser Wilhelm, and because I’m an American, Woodrow Wilson.

But if I were playing a game, and had to name one to get the most matches, it’d be the Archduke. After that, probably the Red Baron.

John Pershing. And Dan Daly, USMC.
