I want to add an ‘s’ to the end of my last name. Can I just add the ‘s’ or do I have to do something legally???
Assuming your talking about your real name, you can just go ahead and do it. There’s no need to involve the legal system; just tell people about the new spelling and that’s it. The only restriction on changing your name is you can’t do it for fraudulent purposes.
If you’re talking about your screen name on this board, you will have to contact one of the moderators.
Sorry. One more thing. I’m assuming you live in the United States. Some other countries do have legal restrictions on name changes.
