It also made it on to the list of top ten girls’ names in the US in 1976, where it stayed for many, many years. I was born December 24, 1975, so I guess my parents were a whole week ahead of the curve.

One of my brothers (Daene) got the very rare name, no-numbers-attached category.

The two last names I put in didn’t even register in this thing. My wife’s maiden name and my family name prior to my grandfather converting it from Basque to something much more common and whitebread sounding (around 115th most common name according to this DB). Now, Beer, that’s a wonderful last name. Even better if your first name is Cold or Free.
