Name that early 80s video

This is a vague memory of an early 80s video. Cheap production, closeup of a scrawny barechested singer looks like he’s jogging through a lightning storm.

I can remember how that chorus went but don’t know how to represent it here in a way that wouldn’t look like gibberish. A few words I may (mis?)remember from the chorus are “eye of the storm”, “sleeping with the enemy” and punctuated at the end with “you! know!” and then a trailing “leave me a aloooone”. Definitely cheesy and self-indulgent, but I did say it was early 80s.

The guy looked a bit older and scrawny like Iggy Pop but his voice (as I hear it in my head) reminds me a bit of the lead singer of AC/DC.

That’s all I’ve got. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Koxinga

(After 30 seconds of Googling.)

Oh. There it is.

Wow, even cheesier than I remembered. The actual song doesn’t begin until 1:20 or so.

Oh well. In hopes of keeping this thread alive, are there any half-remembered old videos like like to search for or share?

Supertramp!

Nah, just Roger Hodgson (and I actually have this on vinyl).

Good lord. I loved this song when I was younger, but never saw the video. I think I need to wash the taste of cheddar out of my mouth now.

How sad is it that I knew what song it was just from the description in the OP. I too owned it on vinyl.

Add me to the group who owned the album on vinyl…

This is ponderous, man. Really ponderous.

This is Ponderosa, man. Really Ponderosa.

Two disturbing pig themed videos:
One and two.
