Think, think, think

Father Goose
Bingo! Home port: Panang, of all places.
Nobody’s gotten my **Bright Beauty ** yet.
As a hint, here are two other ships from the same source:
Captain’s Fancy
The Trumpet
Try this one:
We’re Here
All 3 are from the Gap series by Stephen R. Donaldson
Captains Courageous
Star Trek.
I can’t believe nobody’s put a mention for the Nebuchadnezzar (or would that be The Nebuchadnezzar?)
Somebody did a few pages back.
Yes, but a little more specificity, if you please. In what episode or movie was a ship of that name shown?
These haven’t been ID’d yet:
HMS Habbakuk
Anastasia
Pathfinder
Dauntless
Velan
I’ll throw out a few hints: Dauntless and Velan have the same source as Zambini57’s latest ship mention. Pathfinder source has been mentioned in the thread but not linked to the ship. Anastasia is one Brit Dopers of a certain age should know very well, and Habbakuk has a connection to Winston Churchill’s bathtub, of all things.
Dauntless and Valen (I believe that’s the correct spelling) are both from B5, right?
Nope. And it is Velan.
It would be appropriate if Qadgop the Mercotan ID’d these ships.
HMS Habbakuk - Wasn’t that the “aircraft carrier made of ice” that the Brits were batting around during WW2?
Ayup.
And so he is.
(Congrats on a very successful thread, BTW.)
Wikipedia says otherwise: Valen - Wikipedia
That’s great but the source for this ship is** not** B5.
