Name that television cartoon

Quite true. Now hush.

I looked it up. You guys are nerds! (in a good way)

BTW, Otherworlds TV played an episode of Crusader Rabbit next, followed by the movie serial “The Phantom Creeps”.

Googled and found but also never heard of it. Of course I was just one at the time. I had been thinking Clutch Cargo. Loved the mouths!

Yeah, but he was no “Space Angel”.

By the way, the cartoon was “Q.T. Hush”. Loved the voicework and the animation backgrounds.

Uncle Cecil has a column about Clutch Cargo.

On The Incredibles DVD, the extras menu has an “early” Mr. Incredible episode that uses the mouth feature. That Brad Bird don’t miss a trick.

Found it:

Clutch Cargo?

Damn! Someone beat me to it! :frowning:

I remember watching Clutch Cargo every afternoon on WCCO (Channel 4, MPS/StP) when I got home from school (first grade). I think it was featured on Axel’s Treehouse, and it was touted as a radical new way of making cartoons by superimposing actors’ mouths on animated characters.

Even as a very young child, I rolled my eyes and thought “How lazy. Just draw some mouths, it’d be less creepy.” (The mouths all seemed to have narrow, red lips… a little disturbing when manly Clutch was talking.)
