Does anyone out there in internet land know the artist/song used in the new Steve Madden shoe commercial? (The one with the baby chicken on a leash)
How about that Volkswagon commercial where the guy drives his VW through the countryside arrives a a small chapel and walks into the wedding ceremony just when the minister says “speak now or forever hold your peace.”
I’ve really enjoyed the music in those commercials, but can’t find anyone who knows what they are or where I could find that out.
The name of the VW commercial is called “The Big Day” (honestly, they all have names…) and while it’s not mentioned on the VW Commercials Page I did find a page about it here and apparently the song is “One Million Miles Away” by J. Ralph off the album Music to Mauzner By. And the album is now really hard to come by. Oddly enough, it’s not on the VW “Street Mix” CD which has all their commercial’s greatest hits. Yeah…
Er, and as for Steve Madden - I don’t think I’ve ever seen that commercial but “Maddenworld” on www.stevemadden.com has some musicians featured, along with samples:
