I go to school and live in Carbondale IL. Last year I saw a report on the news about game designers coming to Carbondale to work on a video game. The basis for the game is that Aliens take over the town.
I can’t find out any info about the game. I remember that it was scheduled for release in Nov. 2004. Can someone help??? I want to get it.

Err, yes. Since one of the factual questions is “I can’t find out any info about the game…. Can someone help???” what is your point exactly Reeder? The Op wanted information, that link provides massive amounts of it.
The first site returned for example provides a detailed description of what is quite obviously the same game, and a lot of information on who is designing, how they are designing it etc.

I see nothing that fits your description. Perhaps the game didn’t make it. Not all of them do.

chefIL11 since you know that the game is being developed by Sega have you tried the obvious solution of emailing Sega and asking? Very few companies object to providing information about their products to customers. I’ve even heard that many pay for that service. 
there was a game not too long ago (this year) where you played an alien trying to abduct people in what I believe was a california town, im at work right now so i cant research too much but the game was reviewed in game informer in the issue about san andreas (gta)

That game sounds like a game by the name ‘Destroy all Humans’. Basic plot, so far as I know, is that you are an alien sent to earth to, well, destroy all humans. Has a very retro 50’s sci-fi feel to it, kind’ve a small-yet-important town background that is fitting with the CU area (I happen to be a student there myself). http://www.destroyallhumansgame.com/
