What have they got in common?
They are driving me up the wall.

Late last night I caught the tailend of a movie with John Lithgow , Dennis Franz (with hair) , John Travolta and Nancy Allen. She dies in the end , John goes a bit nuts , kills the other John and Franz laughs.

Okay Okay Nothing so unusal there.But…

The night before was a movie in which Michael Caine plays a transexual (the cautious way its explained is funny…can you say Traaaan Sex Suuuaaall) , who trys to kill Nancy Allen who is being protected by Dennis Franz (with even more hair).

What goes on here?
Are these movies sequels of each other?
Why did such excellent actors appear in such crap?
Why were they shown back to back?
Should I stop turning on the TV when I come home drunk?

I would look up the listings but they are in a language I dont understand.

Ok - The Travolta Movie is “Blow Out” and the Michael Caine movie is “Dressed to Kill”.

Both were directed by Brian DePalma…

I couldn’t find any indication on IMDb that they have anything in common other than that.

That’s a mouthfull that’s never been uttered before.
Made me come by, but I don’t know the scenes you mentioned.

I do think they are all underrated though. Let’s see more of them please.
