If you don’t know what that is, it’s basically National Write a Novel in a Month.
So, will anyone be participating in this? I did last year and succeeded. I am going to do it again!

I’m doing it! And I’ve seen one or two familiar usernames over there, and wondered if they were the Dopers I associate with those names. And I ran into Daowajan there, under a different username.
I didn’t do it last year–heard about it at the end of November, and I’ve been waiting all year for it to come around again. I’m very excited, but getting apprehensive as the date approaches, and my idea seems less and less promising the closer it gets.
Yea, I feel the same way. But, I figure that with some inspiring stuff (For me, it will be Suikoden 3), I should be able to get stuff down, even if it’s crap, ESPEICALLY if it’s crap! Just get the 50,000 and then revise! Wheee!
Revise! Great Scott, I’m not even letting myself think about revising! I just keep telling myself over and over again, “It doesn’t matter if it’s crap. It doesn’t matter if it’s crap. Just write the darn thing.” If I start thinking about revising, I’ll be assuming it’ll have to be worth revising, and then I’ll get worried again.
I think this is going to be fun.
