inor and your argument is???
Origato, perhaps you should consider switching to crack as your drug of choice.
On second thought, considering your wacko, stupid, and almost incoherent OP, maybe you already have…
You are a fucking moron!
RE: The lawsuit crap…Offhand, I can’t think of a single instance where a NASCAR driver’s family sued after a fatal crash.
(I have no cites, and am talking about Winston Cup/Busch Grand National more than the lower classes, could be wrong)
The family will be at Rockingham next week rooting for Dale Jr, and all the Earnhardt cars, not thinking about lawsuits.
Touche on that though- good show.
And Dewt, your contribution to the discussion is name-calling? What a fucking idiot! Contribute or YOU get tne fuck out, asshole…
The Earnhardt Family WILL sue somebody… I HAVE ALREADY PREDICTED IT.
I ALREADY HAVE A BET ON IT…
cough
“bawling”
cough
And now, as a break from drug addled lunacy, I present to you a series of squiggly lines:
See! It's equally irrelevant and out of place, but less offensive to both eye and mind. Buy yours today!
*sigh*
Thanks Myrr, I needed to mellow out
And dammit, squigglylines.com is taken.
Just remember, people, our humble cough cough OP is the same idiot who spawned these threads:
Is the State of Missouri is gonna elect a DEAD guy for US Senator!!!, followed by its redux, Resurrected thread! Missouri did elect a DEAD guy for US Senator!, and, of course, the paranoiac’s paradise, The God-damn media is fucking with our minds!!!.
DNFTT.
Hello, everyone. My name is Andy and I’m your Straight Dope tour guide today.
Here on the left you can witness an ugly horned asshole. Notice how he posts short, simplistic rejoinders to those who call him an asshole, ignoring those who point out the reasons why he is an asshole.
NOTICE THE USE OF CAPITAL LETTERS. He thinks this strengthens his arguement. Hee! Isn’t that cute? Oh, you’re out of film? I’m sorry. Can I offer you a tshirt with a tasteless color scheme?
Coming up on your right is our new exhibit “The three words that end in -gry- A retrospective.”
You DO realize that Dale Earnhart had a “zero liability” contract signed with NASCAR, right? As in, he had accepted the fact that he may get seriously hurt or killed while racing?
Be prepared to lose that bet, jackass.
Some would say that this is the true tragedy represented here.
Origato I guess you like Runi the Sumo wrestler fuckin you up the ass and JoJo sucking your dick along with Felcia the whore going down on your face, oh and the dog licking you all the while.
WTF? That was pretty fucked up. A lot of race fans are very saddened by Earnhardt’s death. He was one of the best in what he did. I was ready to get all shitty on people that disputed my ideas on estate taxes but you Origato really take the cake and side tracked me from that.
I always wanted to be a race car driver, in the thick of things, in the midst of greatness, but you had to cheapen it and be the fuckwad about it all.
Earnhardt was not the most liked NASCAR driver but he was one of the best. He brought to the sport a sense of competition. He gave to many of his fans what a true competitor needs to give to his or her fans, controversy in the way of wanting to win, but always within the rules. I have watched the sport for almost 20 years and it’s a sport where the best guy wins…Earnhardt lost his life, he did so doing what he loved most, racing.
So fuck you and your Pit thread. I hope Runi, JoJo and Felicia gave you what you wanted because you are a complete ass.
This guy reminds me of what I came across when Doug Henning died. Remember him? Goofy magician guy? I was looking up some info on him for my aunt, and I came across a board on a fan site. There was actually a troll on there talking about what a long-haired faggot he was and how the world was lucky he was dead. I couldn’t believe my eyes. A troll on the Doug Henning memorial boards? Some people REALLY need to get out more.
The the OP. Take a logic class or something- learn how to argue a point.
Forgive me members of this board for bothering to reply…
Origato,
It’s already been mentioned that your analogy sucks rocks so I’ll just skip on by that. I’d just like to point out that if you’re going to bother to compare death rates of one type of activity to another you might want to at least have some statistics handy.
How can you claim no one has ever died from Marijauna? Bob Marley? Or are you going to claim that it was lung cancer not your favorite drug that killed him? It was marijauna related you can be sure.
If you want to make the claim that marijauna has never killed anyone you peruse through some auto accident databases and find out how badly people react while smoking the stuff and driving.
Yes, I know that alcohol and cigerettes have the same results as I mentioned above but my points are:
-
You claim no deaths caused by marijuna when that is almost certainly untrue.
-
You’re an insensitive clod.
Is it logical that cigerettes and alcohol are illegal while your drug isn’t. No. Do I care if you smoke while sitting quietly in your house? No. But I do wish you’d disconnect your computer and phone until you learn some compassion for others.
This, above all of your other posts in this thread, show just how little you know about NASCAR as a sport, and the families that live it day to day.
Theresa Earnhardt will not sue. I will take any bet you’re willing to give. I can use the money. I’m trying to move. So let me tell you the reason she won’t sue, from a LIFETIME of racing experience. And it doesn’t have to do with any paperwork Dale signed. She’s part of the racing community. The racing community knows the risks as a whole. They accept those risks. Theresa knows, just as Patty and Kyle Petty knew last year when Adam was killed, just like the wives and families of all the NASCAR drivers have known as far back as I can remember, that her husband was killed doing exactly what he loved to do. He was racing for the checkered flag. He was going fast, foot on the floor, and running wide open. Racing was in his blood, handed down from his daddy, and he handed it down to his sons. Theresa couldn’t have been married to him as long as she was without knowing all this. And, if the thought ever DID cross her mind, she knows Dale would haunt her until her dying day, because, the type of driver he was would NEVER have condoned something like this.
Unlike any other sport I have ever seen, NASCAR is a family. During the off season, on the weekends off, the drivers and their families get together and laugh and have fun and just spend time together. When you go to a track, they’ll come up to you and talk to you, shake your hand, ask you how you are and, if it’s after the race, how you liked the race. They may be competetors on Sunday afternoon, but after that race is over, they are back to being family. And with as close knit of a family as that, you don’t think about sueing and “what’s in it for me?”
Theresa’s first thoughts, after the grief has subsided a little, will be how to continue Dale’s legacy of a race team. She’ll run it with all the panache that Dale did himself. She’ll be hugged at the funeral by Bill France Jr and Mike Helton, who will be there, lending all the support they can, and trying to assauge their own guilt.
I’m sorry that you’ve never had the opportunity to experience the racing community, to see the true love that they have for everyone involved. It’s a shame to me that you will never realize what it means to not be out for only yourself. You are missing out on so much.
Well, when Origato gets finished with his weed, climbs into his 64 Falcon to go to his fast food job, and wipes himself out in a curve, I will re-consider his OP. Or I will just put my finger on my head, “things that make you go HMMMM”, and promptly forget all about him.
Dale, buddy, ya did a fine job with the youngsters.
Many people might have said,
.
Remember, Origato, girls don’t get intimate with boys who’re illiterate. Neither do other boys
Cartooniverse
p.s. And, isn’t it usually pronounced "Ahrigato ???
Y’know, I opened this thread to find out what it was really about.
Nobody, I thought, could be so insensitive and idiotic as to make a completely invalid analogy using a tragedy that was less than 24 hours old. It couldn’t really be about the first thing that crossed my mind…
Apparently I was wrong.
Sad, really…
:wally
Say whut? Is this another line from that fucked up Japanese computer game?
I know all about legalized marihuana. I’m from a country where you can buy the stuff at every street corner, practically. And I can attest that marihuana usually doesn’t have the effects that Origato is so unfortunately demonstrating here. Unless you’re on a fucking automatic hash-oxygen system 24/7, for 28 years.
It’s either that, or he needs to close the damn White-Out on his desk. Jesus Christ, what a train wreck.
