Derek Hough is going to get a multi-episode story arc in October.
So who’s he gonna hook up with – Juliette? Scarlett? Will?
I don’t know, but they are WAY overdue for an evil twin to show up.
As a Nashvillian, I’m glad the show is getting another season for the publicity and money it brings to our city. But as a viewer - I have to admit I fell away sometime in the middle of season 2 when I realized I couldn’t remember who Juliette was currently sleeping with anymore. In season one I was a fan for the music, but the music really seemed to take a back seat in season 2. I don’t know if they’ll get me interested again unless they can convince T Bone Burnett to come back.
This may be old news to some, but I just learned that Hayden Panettiere is with child, so I guess we are going to get a Juliette is pregnant story line this season.
Or shoot her only when she’s sitting on a couch with her belly blocked by a big pillow, or from the chest up.
The season premiere is tomorrow.
They set that up at the end of the last season - remember she kept throwing up? Women only throw up on TV if they’re pregnant or viewers are supposed to think she is.
I was hoping we’d never see Scarlett again, but if she has to come back and whine all over the place, I guess it could be over this Derek Hough guy.
Yup, she’s definitely pregnant.
As for the rest of it – I should’ve watched the rerun of the Season 2 finale last week, because I was a wee bit lost. Will’s wife now knows … what, exactly?
I don’t know if I can watch this season. That first episode was worse than the worst of seasons 1 & 2 combined.
Yeah, it’s lookin’ like I’m the only one still watching. I have no way to justify my fondness for this show.

Well, yeah, I got that – but how did she find out? Did she catch him with someone? Did he tell her?
He told her during the season 2 finale.
Knew I shoulda re-watched last season’s finale.
They replayed his tearful confession during the “previously on Nashville” stuff at the start of the show. 
I’m still watching…though if Rayna had picked Deacon, I might have cancelled my TiVo season pass. That was a close one.
While I don’t want Rayna to pick Deacon, I just do not like whats-his-name. She needed an “I choose me” moment. I liked the roadtrip idea, but they somehow managed to make Gunnar even more unlikable. Also, I don’t understand what the producer was thinking when she confronted Will with the tape.
This show is making me run out of people that I like by making them all so unlikable.
I guess now I am down to… Juliette’s manager and Rayna’s youngest daughter.
Any other Project Runway fans? I was really bewildered by where the hell I knew Juliette’s stylist from – couldn’t put it together till after the scene was over. Bizarre! Apparently she’s from Nashville and does styling for music stars – makes sense, given her fondness for tacky stuff with an arts-and-crafts vibe. [meow!]
Finally someone called Jeff Fordham out on running Edgehill Records into the ground. I just didn’t expect it to be Mario Van Peebles.
