I have no idea what Nasomonian means. I read it in the following excerpt and was wondering who these people were. "While many a wedding can be a boring affair, in some traditions, e.g. the Nasomonian custom, all the wedding guests are expected to copulate with the bride. You probably don’t see too many men trying to get out of
going to those weddings.
I think you’re out of luck, if you were looking for an invitation. Nasamonians were (allegedly) a group living in Libya that Herodotus mentioned (wayyy back. . .), who also explains that they were polygamist and fed themselves on date-milk and grasshopper locusts. In order for a man to express that he wanted a woman, he only had to “plant his staff” in front of her to get the point across.
