Linkety link! Woo hoo!
Thanks, Binarydrone, I’ve got that page bookmarked now. In my Fun&Games folder
Oh, beautiful. i don’t get swamped with these calls, but even a few is too many.
Thanks for the link Bd. This will be useful.
Shucks folks, just trying to do my part to spread info.
On this subject, however, I have some fears. My concern is that, assuming that this works, we will have a huge surge in Spam, Junk Mail, Pop-ups, and (sweet baby Jubuz help up) door-to-door salesmen.
So, wee need to anticipate this now and start a national Do not Mail list, Do not Spam list and stay the hell away from my house list.
Who’s with me?
You might try a “No Solicitations” sign for that last, Binarydrone.
Super Gnat… how’d you get on the computer? Did you figure out how to work the computer despite the lack of an opposable thumb?? Have you sank my hairband in your water bowl again?
Peg, the gal with a cat named Gnat.
Starts June 27th.
Right now its flooded.

Are you mocking me? Don’t me come over there !
I registered earlier. Yay.
I happen to believe that the donotcall list will be used by charities and political groups as call lists. Charities and political groups are exempt from the donotcall restrictions. Since these lists must be made (relatively) public so that potential bulk callers can know not to call, the reverse is also possible – exempt bulk callers will use the list.
It’s like ‘unsubcribing’ to spam – they know that the address is good, and that you are seeing and reading the spam. So they send more spam.
Hopefully I’m wrong, but as I don’t receive many telemarketing calls now, I’m not going to do anything that might increase my exposure.
Binarydrone, Im not mocking you but some people can’t click on your links, this way they can do it manually.
