I loves me some Laurie Anderson. Some William S. Burroughs, too.
Unless the Pitee comes to your rescue and proves beyond doubt that the OP has merit.
This is known as “A pit on both your houses”.
Or “I pit on your grave”.
So you are saying that for the last 29 years I have been living in a cesspool? Have you ever even been here?
I’d rather live here in Texas than in some wimpy bleeding heart sheeple state. STFU.
I was all prepared to be on your side until you used the word “sheeple.” Let me guess: You own guns and think of yourself as a “sheepdog,” don’t you?
Douchebag.
Ironically, with Lorski presenting us with an example of Texan “ignorance and hostility” the premise is thus proved.

I think if Qin weren’t a tween, he’d get a lot more grief on here for the shit he posts.

Or people figure that thinking you have all the answers is just one of the occupational hazards of being a 13-year-old. Kinda like boners at awkward moments.
Or maybe “the Sorrow and the Pitee.”
Ah it was just a joke, I have a number of Naxos cds too.
I miss that like you have no idea.
Nonono, it’s The Pit and the Pendulum.

Sheepdog? Nope. I don’t usually identify myself with a canine. I just take offense at someone calling my state a cesspool that needs to slide off the map. How does that make me a douchebag? Apparantly “sheeple” has a different meaning for me than it does for you. I did not know it was offensive, sorry.
I’m lost. He said my state was a cesspool. I defended it. How is that ignorance and hostility?? I don’t know what I did to offend you guys, but whatever it was, geez, I’m sorry!
Lighten up, Francis.
It looks like I wrongly flew off the handle at you. At the various gun discussion boards that I frequent, “sheeple” is an insult thrown pretty much exclusively at the people who don’t own guns. The same people there who use it almost always like to style themselves as “sheepdogs.” I’ve been fighting the use of both terms for so long that I guess I’ve become hypersensitive.
My apologies.
You know, I was about ready to back you up on this… And then I read:
DOWN WITH NAXOS.
Oh. A miscommunication. I have never heard it used like that before. Apology accepted, and thanks for enlightening me. I will not use that word again.
