NBA Season 2015 - 2016

I would lose so much respect for Curry as a star in this league if the Cavs win tonight. I been waiting for him to step up and play like a MVP but it has yet to happen and I feel like I can’t trust him anymore.

Also what does it say for Kerr as the coach if he has no defensive strategy for Lebron and allows him to score 40 pts for the third straight game?

Instead of losing respect for Curry, how about gaining respect for LeBron, the best player in the series?

That comes second, first will be the confusion of how a league MVP could allow his team to lose 3 straight games in the NBA finals.

The Dubs are in danger of losing because they have been without their main rim protector, Bogut, because Iguoldola has back issues, Barnes’ confidence is shot, and Green can’t play with the reckless abandon that he usually does. That, and James finally has had a teammate step his game up.

I think Bogut is that much of a factor since he has only played well in one of the three games Golden State won. He is easily replaceable on the defensive end at home.

Um, no, Bogut is most not easily replaceable. Did you happen to miss what happened in the first quarter of the first game he was out?

I just never been a fan of a nba player who can only do one thing. I like players who can defend and score not just one or the other.

Golden State had no problem winning game 2 and game 4 with him only playing 10 mins and having 1 block.

There are things that Bogut does that do not show up on the stat sheet. Altering shots or preventing them from being taken would not show up. Having the offense flow through him - he is a far better passer than anyone that would be subbed for him.
If you’ve never been a fan of a player that can only do one thing, then it would make most sense to root for the player that is doing everything better than anyone else in this series - LeBron.

Well if he is that important why was he only playing 10-12 mins a game? He probably was a help but not someone they thought was good enough to play 25 or more mins a game.

He’s important enough to be placed in the starting lineup. Besides, his absence is merely one of a number of reasons why the Cavs have clawed back into the series.
I believe that the 2 most important things for GS today are the condition of Iggy’s back, and Barnes ability to knock down some open 3’s that he’s been missing.

LeBron James is the best player in basketball right now and conservatively one of the ten best players who ever lived. The only “defensive strategy” that works on him is “hope the other guys on his team don’t play well.”

GS is hitting all their threes, and yet it’s still close. That’s a really good sign, I think. If they start missing a few in the second half the Cavs can carve out a lead.

Wow, how did I forget that the game is at 8 PM ET not 8 PM CST?

Really interesting first half. GSW doing great from three and Cleveland doing well inside and a close back and forth game. Which is what you would think to expect… but this series hasn’t been at all what you’d expect so far. Why now?

Third foul on Curry was a pretty bad call, interested to see how he reacts to open the second half.

Some good, some bad. Good to see Love have and positive play on the glass, for a change. Cavs 3 point shooting atrocious, which, if it continues, will ultimately seal their fate.

ooooooooooooooooh…

I’m kind of amazed this is nearly tied after the Cavs bricked like 5 wide open 3s. It could easily be a substantial Cleveland lead.

Terrible call by refs.

When Cleveland settles into that “stand around for 20 seconds, make a rushed drive” offense, is that fatigue, or what? They do that a lot.

What a great game, down to the wire.
