CBS trying to cash in like ESPN has done with the college football playoff.

Wow. They might as well play reruns of Small Wonder because ain’t nobody watching this. Is the actual selection committee going to draw up the top 16 teams every week?

I don’t get it. Don’t they play right UP to Selection Sunday? Are they updating the seeds through that month, or Fuck 'em all, these are the top 4 seeds in each bracket, no matter what?

Exactly - well, unless you want to argue about how a team that was in the top 16 at one point got moved around.

And didn’t they do this last year? Or was that just for the women?

Seems like this is just an extension of the “bracketology” trend of the last few years. ESPN and CBS both, I think, have some “brackets expert” who, practically from the start of the season, start blathering about which teams are in the tournament and where they will be seeded. You know what? I don’t care until the actual brackets are announced.
