Just to interject: you can unregister people from a board. Just delete their account and they’d have to re-register.
We do not delete accounts as a general rule.

Usually the request to remove the registration also comes with “… and delete all my posts.” In most cases we don’t do that either.
Yes, the admins can do that. But we don’t, and there’s no way for users to do that on their end. (mishagoe did ask me to unregister his account, but did not ask how he could do it himself. Since he said he did not intend to post here again anyway, I thought a non-response was good enough.)
I am sure he’s aware of that, not that I want to see that kind of “creativity” encouraged. After getting two warnings, mishagoe apparently convinced himself that he was about to get banned and decided this was how he wanted to make an exit.
