Anyone got a good idea of a proxy address for web browsers? I’ve found lists, but still haven’t found one that has good speed for me. Thanks.
Nope, I don’t get it. Once again, the geeks have kind of assumed you know what you’re doing. Help files are hard to write, but that one didn’t address much. I’ve installed the programs, but they don’t seem to actually do anything. I’m still blocked by this proxy filter, and although I have a list of IP addresses, there aren’t any port numbers, which I’ve always seen on proxy lists. I don’t understand why one port isn’t as good as another, but I just follow the directions.
I’ve tried their IPs with my regular port, and that didn’t work. There doesn’t seem to be a Connect button in the program. I’m back to manually inputting a proxy address and port into Firefox, but even though I can reach this board, I still can’t get my MLB videos.
OK, I guess I mean that Vidalia doesn’t seem to have visible buttons that tell me how to get this thing rolling.
Well then perhaps the easiest thing to do is to download and use the program Torpark. It’s TOR pre-integrated into the Firefox browser. It just works.
