Two trees, about 20-25 feet apart on a parkway between the sidewalk and the street. Trees seem to be maybe 30-40 feet tall, probably oaks. One was about 16 inches in diameter, the other was about 20 inches. About two feet off the ground was a canvas (?) strap connecting them that was pulled tight with a cinch. The strap said “Slacker” on it, like a name brand. The strap was too low to the ground to be taken as an attempt to straighten the growth line of the trees, and besides, they were growing straight and tall as it was. I’m stumped (no pun intended) as to what the purpose was. I can’t find “Slacker” in any quick on line search. Any arborists here who could enlighten me?
Someone practising their slacklining?

Keep watching. I bet you’ll see kids (teens) bouncing on it.
Zowie. I believe this is exactly what it is. I never could have satisfied my curiosity without this source. Thank you, SDMB!!
