Need advice on fundraising group

A non-profit I work with is considering using Bidding For Good, an online auction service, to raise money. Have any of y’all used this site and if so, how did it work out?

I’ve never used it. Nor have I head about any others. As long as the platform achieves what you guys want it to do, it sounds good. You’ll still need to advertise the hell out of it. I wouldn’t necessarily expect to get traffic from people just randomly hitting the site.

Looks like they charge 9% up to $20,000 worth of goods sold. Isn’t ebay 10%? Seems like you’d get more casual traffic from there.

Ready Set Auction and Bidding for Good are the frontrunners for non-profits to host their own auctions. I think they are about equal in price and functionality for paid services, there are others but without knowing what non-profit CRM you use it would be difficult to point you in the perfect direction.

It’s for a food bank run by St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

Go with your first choice - it’s the cheapest even with the 20%.
