Need an On-Line List of English and French Profanity

A colleague at a different company asked if anyone had a list of English and French profanity for a job they’re doing for a client. I figure if anyone knows there is such a list on-line, it’ll be you folks. Can anyone help me out? I swear this is for legitimate business and the question was asked on a list-serve for my current industry!

Thanks, as always, for your help!

alternative quebecois dictionary: http://www.notam02.no/~hcholm/altlang/ht/Quebecois.1.html#so0
The page has links to other languages (France’s French expressions being linked separately than those from Quebec). No pronounciation guide and the author is clearly not an English major, but pretty accurate in terms of swear words and expressions used in Quebec. Most Quebecois swears are religious words, so if you know your french religious terminology, you can swear in French! Ostie d’calisse de crisse de tabarnak

The Swearasaurus has an interesting collection of profane words and phrases in a whole host of languages. The French list is here: http://www.insultmonger.com/swearing/french.htm

Since the entries are compiled from readers’ contributions, the phrases given can sometimes be rather… idiosyncratic. However, a lot of the items in the French list are familiar from my past readings of Merde! and Merde Encore!

For British rudeness, the best and most comprehensive on-line guide is Viz magazine’s “Roger’s Profanisaurus”.

Thanks, folks. You’ve saved me going through Geoffrey Hughes’ Swearing and doing a lot of typing! My colleague’s in Canada, so Quebecois and British profanity should be particularly helpful. Any other useful sites out there?

From “Roger’s Profanisaurus”…

aeroplane blonde n. A dark haired female who dyes her hair blonde, ie. is equipped with a black box. :stuck_out_tongue:

This page purports to be a list of 1121

It’s bizarrely thorough.
