Need hair help; specifically, easy ways to wear it up

Twist your hair and roll it into a bun (like others have described- basically letting it coil where it wants to once it’s twisted)

then stick the ends of the pin in basically anywhere and twist it like you’re screwing it into the bun. It just holds everything in place. I usually make sure to start it where I’ve tucked in the end of my ponytail or else sometimes the tip of my hair sticks out and looks less polished. But it usually works if you stick it in any random way and screw it in.

I have one of these, but my hair is too thin and doesn’t sufficiently cover the foam thingy :frowning:

Is your hair fine and thin, or fine and thick? Mine is thick but wavy – I like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum to smooth flyaway/frizzy hair

The hairs themselves are fine but I have a lot of them(or so says my hair dresser). In other words, I’m not suffering from hair loss, my hair is just naturally very fine. That’s why I have to be especially careful what product I use lest it gets weighed down or greasy looking.

The topknot is a brilliant thing. You can do the same thing at the nape of your neck, or midway up the back of your head.

Take clear elastic and make ponytail. Split ponytail into two halves. Take right half, and swoop around to left. Pin. Take left half, and swoop around to right. Pin.

With a topknot, it’s fine and expected if it looks messy.

I use product to reduce flyaways. Frizz-Ease cream works a treat.

There are a ton of pages like this, I am sharing this one because I bookmarked it for some reason so it was handy. Some of the ideas were not for me AT ALL, but a few of them worked great and were easy.

26 Lazy Girl Hairstyling Hacks?

Check around for different sized ones - I’ve got fairly thick strands but sparseish on the scalp and I bought a smallish one which works. I found mini ones for my kids (3 and 5) and they are only golfball sized - perhaps that might be OK?
