Need help finding some citations

I think this is apporpiate for GQ because I’m looking for cites not opinions. I’m working on a paper for a class where I’m showing that homosexual couples should be allowed to adopt because the sexual orientation of the people raising a child does not affect the sexual orientation of the child. ( I hate the term sexual prefrence. I prefer women but I didn’t make a choice about that) I’ve tried google but can’t find anything good.

I tried that an hour ago, but the I struck out. I found material to backup two statements but I can’t find anyhtng to backup the following statement.

A child that is loved growing up in a family that cares about them and their well being, is les likely to do drugs, drink underage, or commit crimes.
