Need Help: Getting Original File Off Homemade DVD

Hi,

For the last few years, I have been making videos for my school. This year (my final year), I want to make a compilation DVD, including all of the videos. However, I have lost the source file for one of the videos. I have the DVD that I originally burned the file onto in order to show it to the school in the first place.

Is there any way to reverse-engineer the DVD so as to gain access to the original file?

Thanks!

If it’s home-made it’s not encoded with DRM, I assume. A VOB file is just a MPG file. Copy it, rename it, and edit away.
