Need help identifying the language in this song!

There’s this one song from the soundtrack of this one anime series, Cowboy Bebop. It’s called “Wo Qui Non Coin” and the first verse in Japanese, while the second verse is in a language I can’t identify. It sounds a bit like French to me, although I’m not particularly sure about this. That’s what I get for not paying attention in French class.
