Need help to win a bet re an old diet suppresant candy called AIDS

I am positive there was a chocolate, square-shaped diet suppresant called AIDS, circa late 70’s-early 80’s. I have a bet with people at work who don’t believe this product existed. If anyone can provide a link to an online picture of the box or anything, it would be greatly appreciated- I will even send a portion of the wager (5.00) if you like  . I have tried every possible google word serach combination I can think of and only get info on how the disease suppresses the appetite and such. And no, this request is in no way making light of the disease or anyone who has it, it stemmed from a discussion on weird product names. Thanks!

Try searching for “Ayd’s”

Yep, it was called ayds. Here a previous thread we’ve had about them.

God, how bizarre, one of the links Gorilla Man kindly sent has the caption “help takes weight off and keep it off”…

Why take diet pills when you can enjoy Ayds?

Yikes!

I can see why they pulled them off the market, but that commercial, in hindsight, is hilarious!
