Need macintosh help!

I’m trying to fix my cousins computer, which is a Mac, as I’m the resident computer expert in the family. Unfortunately the last time I used a Mac was in 2000 :).

It’s pretty simple I hope, they’re using Netscape Navigator 4.75 and it’s stopped automatically dialing in. I can manually dial in fine so all I need to find where to tell it to do it automatically. And I can’t. Help!

What version of the Mac OS are they using?

If they’re using Netscape 4 then they’d better not be using OS X or else I’m gonna have to have a long discussion with your cousin :wink:

You’re probably going to find the setting somewhere in the TCP/IP control panel. Look for something that says “Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications.”
