I read this book before and for the life of me cannot rember what its called. It is an alien invasion book but he author puts a rather god twist to whole thing. Basicaly the aliens start t invade and the play like they are peaceful give humans secrets to live healthier, cure all diseases, stop war… all that after a while they start slowly taking away things. Cell phones, saying the cause cancer. Wepons, saying they lead to war. Schooling, saying in an equal society schooling isn’t needed. And driving, saying that smog is killing the earth (right on that one lol) but after all these freedomd are slowly taken one by one all of a sudden one day everyone in the world freezes except a select few. The main character (forgot her name) goes on a mission with a guy she mets up with (her crush) and they try to survive the invasion. They scientist dr that they met come to the conclusion that evryone that is still moving has the same blood type except the main character girl…the aliens are descrbed as human in appearence with these “pets” that resemble jelyfish/tic/spier like things that start to drain the frozen people of their blood. I kno its a crappy synopsis but please if anyone knows what I’m talking about let me know
