Intense flick. Great acting and cinemagic. But a little too cerebral for my small brain. I feel it needs a sequel. Did the main actor live happily ever after?
Don’t know what was an illusion and what actually happened.
Thanks for any insights.

I saw this several months ago and while I could picture it, I had to look on Wiki to remind me of the story.
I *think *the only parts that were *actually *illusions (as opposed to misdirection for the audiences’ / main characters’ benefit) were when Lockhart (main dude)is subjected to experiments by the doctor. I guess you’d have to tell me precisely which parts you’re questioning, since I can’t remember all the scenes without a reminder.
As for the ending, I just took it as the valiant knight saved the princess type of thing. “Happily Ever After” I don’t know about but I do think the viewer is supposed to view the outcome as happy.
I don’t think your brain is too small for the film; I think the film is too big for its own britches
Nitpick: your title mentions Netflix but the film wasn’t produced or released by that company. It had a theatrical release and was available on Bluray/DVD (which is how I saw it). Netflix really deserves no credit for it.
Nitpick: its on Netflix where she lives
Thank you señor cool for the clarification.
I thought we all shared the same Netflix.
Ignorance fought again!
