True true, but most of us non-celebrities are less likely to develop the delusion that we can do whatever we want whenever we want because everybody adores us so.

I don’t find it odd. When they treat trans people differently than other minority groups, it’s pretty clear that the reason is that they are transphobic. Someone who is a bigot for money is still a bigot.
This is actually the one thing that makes me happy about Netflix’s current slump that is causing them to freak out. I know that the bulk of the people unsubscribing aren’t doing so because of this issue. But it does feel karmic.
