**I have seen the original “Star Wars” movie in its entirety many times.
I have seen the Pacific Ocean several times.**
**I have seen the original “Star Wars” movie in its entirety many times.
I have seen the Pacific Ocean several times.**
**I have seen the original Star Wars in its entirety in all three (?) editions.
I have never seen the Pacific Ocean.**
Pacific Ocean? Arrrgggh, I almost made this one of my statements, but I thought it was too close to make it a definitive statement.
I have seen the Puget Sound while in Seattle, and the Strait of Georgia while in Vancouver, BC. Since in both cases, i could see land looking across the water, I will stick my neck out on a limb and say:
I have never seen the Pacific Ocean.
I have seen all of “Star Wars.” I’m not positive, however, that I’d ever seen all of “Star Wars” in one sitting until the late 90s “Han Shot First” theater rereleases.
I have never seen the Pacific Ocean. The furthest west I’ve ever been is Banff.
**I saw Star Wars in the theater, 10 years old, cast on my leg from summer camp. Best day of my young life. Greedo never shot first. Han took a preemptive strike.
I have swum in the Pacific on New Year’s day, 1997**
I have seen the original “Star Wars” many, many times - I even saw it when it originally came out in theaters, a long, long time ago…
And I have seen the Pacific Ocean as well.
I guess I’m doing pretty poorly in this game - I think apart from my own suggestions, I have done pretty much everything mentioned.
Man, I was doing okay for a while, but
**I’ve seen Star Wars, and
I’ve seen the Pacific many, many times**
If they’re salt water, then you’ve seen the Pacific.
No, but if it’s alcoholic, then I’m probably just not interested. It’d been ages since I’d had a beer, but when my wife and went to Prague, everyone was telling us (even the guidebooks) how awesome Czech beer was and such and such. So I gave it the old college try but the same thing–by sip 5, I had to stop. This is not contained to just beer, either–I feel the same thing about wine (too much acidity, even the “mild” fruity ones).
As for the game:
**Yes, I’ve seen the original theatrical version of Star Wars to completion.
Yes, I see the Pacific Ocean probably every other day**
Ouch, forgot that this round counts 3 pts each! :gulp:
I have seen the Star Wars movies and so should you!
I’ve seen the Pacific Ocean from both sides of the Earth.
**I’ve seen the Pacific.
And I’ve seen all of the original Star Wars.**
I’d have to stay seeing Star Wars was more fun. I could live without seeing the Pacific again (or swimming in it).
**I have seen Star Wars.
I have frolicked in the Pacific Ocean.**
**OK, I’ve definitely been dumped.
I’ve had several one-night stands in the “classic” sense where you meet the guy, take him home, kick him out afterwards and never see him again. ** Those are fun. I’ve also had a few “relationships” that were intended to be one-nighters that turned into more “friends with benefits” arrangements.
**I’ve met a couple dopers in real life (and have had sex with two of them).
Sex with more than one person?..see above**.
**I’ve seen all of Star Wars…even the crap prequels.
I’ve never seen the Pacific in person though.**
Worm, I think I’ll wear the tiara for a bit.

Btw, I*m totally not accountable for any counting in the Wormsheettonight as I just came back from a damn good bbq with some friends.
Negative numbers and -3 per statement sucks…
Do they ever!
Judge Worm, your honor, Have I seen the Pacific Ocean? I will honor your enlightened judgement.
I have seen the Puget Sound and the Strait of Georgia. I assume it has about the same saline content of the nearby Pacific Ocean.
Has a person seen the Atlantic Ocean if the person has seen the English Channel, and the Mediterranian Sea?
Yup. Bodies of saltwater that are connected to oceans are considered part of the oceans. Enclosed bodies of water (like the Caspian Sea) are not.
'sup to His Worminess, though.
In my Salomonian* wisdom I say NAY, you can keep those three worms in your can. If you’ve only seen the English Channel, you have not seen the Atlantic, same as if you stand way in a fjord. But the Med counts as an ocean on its own, at least to this guy.
*or however you spell that.
And in that spirit, let’s move on.
