I have ridden a zip line in the past, once with Guides and once I got to jump out of the Mock Tower at CFB Griesbach where they used to train military types to jump out of perfectly good airplanes (wearing all the straps and unlike a zipline where you basically go straight along a slight slope there is a drop of about 10 feet or so before you go sliding along the wire).
Zip line is easy, I never understand the freakout on that one… if they had to drop though, then I understand it. It took me a bit to finally go and I think they pushed me in the end.
Weird … how come I did not get auto-subscribed to the new merged thread? OK, anyway …
It’s no so much that I’ve gotten my priorities in order, as that I’ve gotten my schedule under control. Plus, they way I figure, this will be an educational experience for the baby, because it is never too soon to teach a child (1) about the world, (2) about the weird food to be found all around the world, and (3) how and how not to act in public.
