New and Improved ChiDope Thread! Now with 33% More DETAILS!

I’m going to pick up some disposable cameras, I think. Didn’t want to lug around the monster camera. ** Biggirl**, I just got to work, too, and am not leaving for another 3 hours.

WOOO!!! CHIDOPE!

Ooooo, there is a shark exhibit at Shedd Aquarium which might draw me away from the other museums…anyone up for that tomorrow?

Me!!! I am!! And, ya know my boobs have been to S. Africa, Zimbabwea, and Botswana

JANE!!! Yay!!! Let’s go!! Gundy’s doing Gundy things on Saturday and I’d love to go tromp at the aquarium.  Tell me when, I’ll be there!

OK, let’s say 11:00 am like the other group. We can meet where they are meeting (outside the Field Museum I think.) That way if anyone changes their mind at the last minute, they can join us. The Shedd is right across the street from the Field Museum, so it’s all very convienient.

I am soooooooo excited!!

My friend and I were planning on going to the Shedd Aquarium after the Field Museum trip, so maybe we will see you there later.

BTW, is anybody planning on being at the hotel in the 7:30-8:00 p.m. time frame tonight? That’s about the time I’m getting in, and we were thinking about getting a couple of drinks at the bar there before heading out with whoever will let us hang out with them for the night.

Jane, that sounds perfect. I can’t wait! I love that place. Man, can you bring your safari pictures again?

I think I’m gonna take the el down to the aquarium - that what you’re doing?

Wheee!!!

Don’t tease me like that. I am worse that a mom with baby pictures about those, so, yeah, I’ll have the pictures, but only cuz you asked.

I can’t make it. Some family stuff (involving my wonderful, charming sister) came up. Figures.

While the nudity is preferred, I would like to state that for purposes of Manifest Breastiny, I can slide/slip my hands under anything - the important thing is skin on skin.

Thenkew.

I respectfully request that if we do brunch, we do something other than dim sum… tried it once, they had virtually nothing I could eat – it was all meat-based. And as much as I love y’all, I don’t find sitting and watching other people eat to be much fun. :stuck_out_tongue:

I can recommend Corash, off the 6-point intersection of Milwaukee, Division, and Ashland, buffet-style. Or the Heartland Cafe, off the Morse stop of the Red Line, for sit-down stuff.

Just signing off. Hope to get on the road within an hour. See you all soon.

Sorry gang, I’m not gonna be able to make it. I’m pretty bummed out, and I tried to keep the option open for as long as I could, but I have some difficult finals on Monday and a new job, so I’ve got to miss this one.

dang. :frowning:

Kaio, if you do come to Shui Wah, they do have some yummy veggie items that are not on the “usual” list of stuff you see at these places. Veggie dumplings, taro cakes Mmmm, other good stuff. If you go to Amazon.com you can look up a scanned menu.

Hey, Jarbaby, it’s looking like I’m going to make the pre-Grafton dinner…how do I find you if I do?

Well, since I was just browsing this. . .

Kat, The Wild Goose is a smallish bar, and as you enter, there’s an area to the right of the front door, near the windows, that is lifted up a bit like a stage. (Or, that’s the way it was last year, anyway.) That’s probably where you’d find Jarbaby. Just wander over and say hi. She won’t bite.

Hope you see this before tomorrow!

Just a note that it looks like UncleBeer and I won’t be able to make it to the Field Museum on Saturday morning, but we’ll see everyone Saturday night.

Probably too weak from the lack of food at Gundy’s place.
