The Wild Goose is located at the corner of Lincoln and Cullom, about four blocks from the Grafton, I believe. I’ve received a few emails from folks who’d like to meet there for dinner. Let me say: this place has the best Hamburgers I’ve ever had ever, great spinach and artichoke dip, an AWESOME chicken ceasar salad, and Mr. Jar says the Tuna Steak sandwich is a dream.

Yeah, I’ll be there. It was a snap decision, but the airfare is under $200 and I need a vacation. I haven’t been to Chicago in 10 years or so. I’m due.
$60 a night is cheap for Chicago. If only a few people are getting rooms, it might be slightly less, but I wouldn’t count on it. I’m sure Jane will post with the going rate before too long.
Also, last year’s O’Hare hotel was the Jane D’oh! hotel, so that’s another reason why the price probably won’t be much different, assuming an equal number of rooms.
Jarbaby, I might be interested in dinner. But first, I have to find out if the aforementioned sister is coming with, and if she wants to have dinner. I’ll let you know.
Ok. Me and the family will be flying in Friday evening. That’s me, Houseman, Zoltarb and the distaff Alex Keaton. We hope to be able to make one of the family get togethers, but since we have no idea what time we will be arriving in Chigago, which hotel we will be staying at and where anything is (we’ve never been) we aren’t making any promises.
We will have our shit together by Saturday definitely. We could feed the kids early at The Grafton and then take 'em back. I’m sure I will have an uncontrollable urge to return.
OK, here is the hotel info. Reservations will not be in for another week or so - I am waiting for any final changes and other stuff. The less changes the better.
Anyway, I will post a rooming list later today (damn work, I had to do a lot of it this week) and ask that you e-mail me if I have forgotten you or if you have changed your mind since my last update.
The rate will be $59.00 + tax (currently 12.5%) This rate includes a luxurious 2 room suite and complimentary breakfast each morning as well as the evening reception. (I should have been in sales, doncha think )
