She was due on ANZAC day but didn’t quite make it. A friend of ours had an ANZAC baby but they’re living in England so they had another eight hours grace.
Work have been pretty good. I’d arranged for a weeks leave starting from the due date, they also gave me a week of standby and days off in the lead up. It was lucky that Caitlin was nice enough to arrive approximately on time. Unfortunately I’m away for five days from Saturday, though I can get carers leave if Mum isn’t feeling up to tackling a new baby and a toddler by herself.
Good luck. First one? This was our second so it’s been a bit easier knowing what to expect.
