Very interesting. Couple of things shown there:
Gaeta finally has an artificial leg. Doesn’t appear to be particularly fancy, but it suits the tone of the show. Also, I’d say Gaeta is now confirmed gay. Remains to be seen if he’s human or cylon…

Personally, I’m hoping he’s bi. If anyone in the whole frakking Fleet deserves quality time with a BoomerBot, it’s Gaeta. Besides, it’d make for an interesting story on the raptor.

Of course, there has been no reaveal of the final cylon so far, but I sorta wonder if this is a way to set up Gaeta being revealed as the final cylon, without it being common knowledge in the fleet…then again, I was expecting the final cylon to be female. Hmmmm…

Anybody still watching this? I just saw #6, and #7 is supposed to be available tommorrow. I’m enjoying the story. Tightly scripted, with meaningful plot advancement in each short segment released.

I’m with levdrakon-- people have been saying that Gaeta’s gay for a long time. However, it appears that he is not, and he, like everyone else in the damn fleet, has been with an 8. So, I guess he’s bi, or he’s just gay + Sharonsexual. I don’t find the lost in space plot all that suspenseful because (and this I will spoiler, since it’s in the www.scifi.com/youwillknowthetruth clues):
There’s a convo among the clues that has Gaeta and Baltar talking. The clue strongly hints that Gaeta is a Cylon, but it’s probably a red herring.

I’m not reading this thread, and I haven’t seen the webisodes. I just need to say that I am so loving this series (I’m 4 episodes into season 3 as of 8 this past evening).
For those with TiVo, you can download almost all of these (minus episodes 3 and 9, oddly) on Amazon Unbox for free to watch on your TV.
Now I’m curious how these events are going to play into the new season, since Boomer and Athena are pretty major characters. Are these “webisodes” just snippets of the season opener?
I’m watching these, and while it’s nice to have new BSG material, I’m a little less than satisfied. The storytelling is kind of a mess, and the cost-cutting is a little too evident (especially in the VFX). I’m hoping for a socko wrapup but it’s just not as polished as the regular series. Maybe my expectations are too high.
The previous webisode subseries set on New Caprica wasn’t any different.
Hey, how can a story not seem choppy when you only see 3 minutes at a time, anyway? After the first couple of them, I’m holding back until I can watch it all at once.
Ruby, aren’t all the clues from previously-shown eps, not new ones? They don’t lead to anything at all, though, beyond the opening quote that the Last Cylon is someone whose voice we know, but not the name (or however that’s worded) - that pretty much invalidates any guess we might have, as well as ruins the fun of guessing
I agree that the lost Raptor is recovered safely, but only because they can’t kill off a major character in footage that isn’t going to be televised.
If I understood the commentary right then the webisodes weren’t even written until after the finale was shot. I’m going to be more than a little upset if we hear nothing more of Gaeta & Hoshi for the rest of the series. :mad:
Well apparently he is bi, but I suspect that in the BSG universe, people don’t really sexually self identify, and just have loose preferences.
They’ve hinted at something going on between him and Baltar, but it remains to be seen if it ever amounted to more than lingering glances.
I’m kind of annoyed at how his relationship ends up towards the end of the episodes.
It’s kind of cool that the webisdes take place after the last real episode, and so are somewhat spoilerly.
I can’t remember, and don’t feel like watching another Underworld commercial; they had to jump away from earth because Cavil’s forces showed up?
