AMC has announced that the new season will be on March 21st. Tune in earlier for a marathon to catch up on all the goodness.

Are we actually gonna get a real season this time? Or is it gonna be another of those 7 episode dealies?

I need to rewatch season 1&2. Jesse is the spitting image of my ex’s current (?) bf, both in appearance, mannerisms and the meth habit, which makes the show extra amusing for me.

I thought only the first season was 7 episodes, which isn’t all that unusual for a new television show. The second season was 13 episodes.

I’ve been waiting breathlessly for this! Thanks!

Great Show. Love it. In some ways, even better than Mad Men.

Yay!! I can’t wait!! Thanks for the heads up, Enright3.

Right…so the first and second seasons combined is almost as many episodes as a single season of most TV.

That said I’ll still watch the Hell out of it, but I really wish there was more to it, while still retaning its quality.

there are 3 season three previews at the AMC network’s website.

The 3rd season is scheduled to be 13 episodes.

I also find it entertaining that the actor that plays Jesse is also on Big Love as Sarah’s fiance’/husband.

Is AMC going to repeat seasons one and two before season three starts? I don’t see anything on the schedule yet.

Aaron Paul is excellent. It’s too bad Bryan Cranston is so good – he gets all the attention.

The AMC website said something about doing a ‘best of’ to catch people up.

ohhhh yeahhh, there’s a trailer up on the website!

I’m seriously GIDDY! I love this show!

Gilligan was interviewed on NPR a couple days ago. He gives good interview – he’s not coy about his thought processes.

One thing he said that surprised me was that initially they had planned to kill Jessie off in the first season, but that Aaron Paul did such a great job, they decided to keep him.

He also said (spoiler for something Walt did at the end of season two) that his first plan was to have Walt shoot some more heroin into Jessie’s girlfriend as she lay sleeping. He said he was glad that he was talked out of doing that. It was bad enough that Walt let her die – having him take a more active role in her death would have changed everything.

FWIW, I remember reading that the first season was cut short by the Writer’s Strike at the time. I could be mistaken, but it makes sense.

I sort of like the seasons being only 13 episodes long. Each episode is concentrated awesome by not having to be watered down with almost twice as many shows. No filler.

This is one of my all-time favorite dramas on TV, ever. I can’t wait.

Hell yeah it is!! I can’t wait for it to start again!

I want to see how he’s gonna avoid his DEA bro in law…and on the previews, it looks like he’s going from a mild mannered kinda guy, to a badass!!

Do you think that he really needs to keep cooking? I thought he made all the money he needed to pay for his treatments.

I think he’s in it for the rush – it’s not about money anymore.

How much money does he have? $737,000 stashed in the wall. Is that all? I can’t remember. It’s not that much. A friend whose husband was hospitalized with H1N1 said one of their bills was $360,000.

i thought i read somewhere that Walter will be spilling the beans to Skyler (his wife). So there’ll be a totally awesome reaction sequence there. I can’t wait to see how things unfold in this season.
