I think Russia is also helped, about like England. Turkey will need to look west more strongly, and can focus less on Russia or Turkey. Germany also benefits from having an Austria that’s not as likely to be knocked out early.

But, I mean, I guess I’ll just take Austria. Since nobody else is picking it. I was thinking of putting England on top but that would just seem spiteful now that you guys have posted yours (and Omni chose E first).

Oh and WL, volunteer for whatever country you want. I’ve only played France so far, so any of the first 6 on my list would be fine. Its not like I’d take it as a afront that you also wanted the country, thats what that nifty little script is for.

I keep meaning to check in and request a change in country preferences. When I thought this game would get going before WMDip, I wanted practice as Austria, but now I think I’d just get confused with 3 games going as the same Power.
So if this game is still happening, I’d like to drop A down to last in my prefs. Or I can just bow out if that’s easier.

Oh, I’m not burned out on Dip - but this crazy little thing called ‘real life’ has been kinda demanding as of late, and the WorldMasters game has been making me feel like a babe in the woods. These guys think deep.
