Drat! I just got Diplomacy for Christmas. (Though I bought it myself and some relatives haven’t paid me back yet. Grrr.) Apparently, I’m a bit late.
I would love to fill in a spot, but I’m afraid I’d be a liability. I’ve played a grand total of two games, losing both. Apparently, I’m no good.
I’d love to watch, though.
There is no shame in losing a game of Diplomacy.

My non-WM game is wrapping up, so I’m raring to go and ready to get this one started up.
None at all. The vast majority of player lose the vast majority of their games.

Yes, the dips are at Foggy Bottom. But we don’t use them with the Bush administration. I would have thought that would be obvious.
And the spies are in McLean or Fort Meade. Ignore him.

I’ve interacted with all of the participants save Schnitte, and I’ve got to say it promises to be an interesting game for watching from the peanut gallery. Please don’t disappoint. (Am I allowed to pull up a lawn chair, or is that a no-no these days?)
Lawn chairs are fine by me. I wouldn’t put it in the Balkans, though. You might have to move.

I have to say, if there was one single setup in this game that I would have chosen to avoid if I could, it might well have been having to play France with JC in Italy armed with that extra fleet.
