I’m not sure why, but that seems quite a bit more grotesque than the CatCopter. The slightly-open beak, the unnaturally straight and round neck…

Shouldn’t the Ostrich be required to traverse some amount of horizontal distance in order to qualify as having achieved flight?

Seems to me all the Ostrich did was hover; by that definition I could buy a small hovercraft and “fly” all over the place.

I wouldn’t want to make it mad. The ostrich is obviously full of angry bees.
