New Greek bottled water on the market

My boss was telling me about a “new type” of bottled water that should be on the market soon. Apparently, it supposed to use some new process to make water better than ever.

She can’t remember the name, other than the fact that the commercial said it was, quote, an ancient greek word for processing water that you’ve never heard before, unquote. Yes, the slogan is actually playing into the audience’s ignorance.

I’m trying to figure out what it could be, both so I can debunk the process, and I’m kinda curious what the word is. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

If this is what I 've heard of before, it is something along the lines that the water is ‘structured’ in some subtle way. Complete bullshit.

We had a thread a while back on it, but it may be gone - I’ll see if I can find a link.

Most bottled water is just city water from wherever it is bottled. Unless you live where the local water tastes bad or is certifiably dangerous, there is no reason to buy it in a bottle. I’m gritting my teeth, and I won’t call anybody a pure-dee fool. I won’t, I won’t, I won’t.

That is exactly why I buy bottled water. Springfield, Illinois tap water has the soft, subtle taste of a cup of Clorox™.

Oh, I have no doubts in my mind that it’s a ridiculous hoax. I’m just looking for the name of this particular brand of bullshit.

It’s supposed to be just now coming out on the market, and couldn’t find a likely candidate using Google.
