Yes, the silenus/deedeeknowitall household has just grown by two. We adopted two 3 month old shorthair cats. They are sisters. Pictures will be forthcoming, but let note that Havoc is a classic black and white “camouflage” kitten, while her sister Pixel is black with a white chin and bib, and one white sock. She also has scattered white hairs among the black, which is kinda what my hair looked like before I shaved it all off.
Anyway, they both just got back from the vet where they were fixed and all that.
I believe I have had the last peaceful nights sleep I’m ever gonna get.
OK, OK. You people are relentless. Right now the kitties are curled up in little balls under the edge of the couch, recovering from surgery. After dinner, I’ll break out the camera and see if they want to say “Hi.”
If Havoc attacks my foot when I walk by, I’ll know they’re done sleeping.
Mmmmmmmmmm. Love kittens. We have 4 cats. The yearly struggle between May and October to resist fresh kittens is a rough one, by gosh. Congrats on the new family members.

I’ve lived with cats almost nonstop for my 43 years. We have never washed a cat. Not ever.
What’s with alla the dripping wet angry kitties?? Why would anyone wash a cat whose job it is to sleep 22 hours a day, frolic for 9 minutes and spend the remaining 1hour and 51 minutes licking it’s entire body?
