Just saw the preview they showed on CSI this evening…
What can cops do in that situation - the psycho has some guy strapped in a chair. The 2 cops burst in with guns, and the psycho in asome sort of hooded creepshow monks robe or something gets told to put his hands up, so he hits a red switch and some driills start up. He tells the cops to sod off, the victim has 20 seconds, so they need to decide if they are going to threaten the psycho or save the victim.
On a personal level, I would so blow the psycho away, damn the paperwork…you should be able to blow the bad guy away and save the victim in 20 seconds…So many movies would not make it past the first commercial break if people did the sensible thing and blew away the psycho instead of trying to hold him for the cops, or psych ward…
