New Prisoner Abuse Photos: Now It's The Navy's Turn

Heh, it looks like The truth can’t handle us!

:stuck_out_tongue:

More common, or more reported? Police and soldiers have always been brutal, but we have more oversight now of both groups. We’re hearing more & more of what has been going on for centuries.

That’s not to say it right, though.

Eli

In Soviet Russia… no, wait.

You’ll be waiting a mighty long time, since it is an extremely retarded question, not to mention nobodys business.

There’s at least 1,000,000 plausible reasons why somebody is not currently a part of our all volunteer army.

Don’t get your hopes up.

The numbers are irrelevant. It’s better to get the enemy out in the open, rather than having people play some silly two-faced game. Let them show their true colors. Are they with us or are they with the savage terrorists ? It’s a simple choice, and it will make things easier for us, from a strategic viewpoint.

Yes I agree that if all the terrorists came out into the open so we could shoot them, things would be much easier.

Why would they want to make things easier for us?

How so? It sounds like a fair enough question to me. Especially considering how enthusiastic you seem to be about the whole thing.

So what’s your excuse? Not tall enough? Mommy didn’t sign your excuse note?
I’d guess that it’s because you’re a fucking coward that likes to chant “bring it on” while other people’s lives are the ones on the line and you can sit there like a cheerleading sissy.

They of course don’t want to, which is why they need a little added incentive.

Why, you’ve got me all figured out obviously.

I am a 3 foot tall midget who still lives at home with my mommy. Did I mention I still like to breastfeed occasionally ? I’m also confined to a wheelchair and I have 27 toes, so the military turned me down unfortunately.

Seems like we’re only giving them more incentive to make things more difficult for us.

Exactly.

Are you in Iraq? Are you in the armed forces? Are you going to serve?

No? Then kindly put your money where your mouth is or shut the fuck up.

Well, don’t feel too bad. You’ve still got your pom poms and your obnoxious rhetoric. Not quite as exciting as killing innocents, but hey maybe next life.

Your attempts at censoring me is at best futile.

You going to respond to any questions or are you going to verbally masterbate all day?

I’ve answered a few of your questions already.

If you mean why I am not in the military questions, then nope, I don’t reply to rude questions.

I’m not trying to censor you; I’m trying to keep you from furthering the notion that you’re just a grandstanding chickenhawk, safe and secure behind your computer, willing to send others to do and die for the things you want to see happen.

If you want to be that person, then fine. If you’re not - if you actually have something of yours in this fight and stick to your opinion - then feel free to set me straight.

This is the stupidest exchange I’ve ever seen here. And that’s saying something.

First off, The Truth, your opinions don’t seem really well thought out. I support this war, but I’m no cheerleader for it. War is an awful thing to cheer. It is, at best, an unpleasant but necessary task.

That said, though, you have a right to your opinions, same as everyone else. Your status as a military member, veteran, or civilian is immaterial to this. And I really don’t like snide insinuations that civilians can’t morally support the war. That doesn’t let you civilians off the hook, you know. You have to evaluate the situation critically, like the rest of us.

Now, I’m an honorably discharged veteran, and I still work with the Navy every single day. You folks who say you respect the military should, then, grant this old sailor a very small favor. Knock off the demands that The Truth sign up. I haven’t demanded that any of you do so, and we all have the right to a belief honestly held, without overblown accusations of hypocrisy flying about.

Got that, Nietzsche? TonyF?

It’s quite simple, one does not have to be in the military to be pro-war, or to have an opinion on certain matters.

Mr. Moto:

While I agree that military service is not required to have an opinion on this war, I don’t think that’s what The Truth is doing. His mindless cheerleading and gleeful support of the death of innocents is indicative of two things:
a) Either he is a homocidal maniac with no regard for human life or
b) he is some childish idiot who has never experienced first hand the horrors of war.
In either case, this venemous hate-filled pile of monkey spunk deserves to be ruthlessly derided for wishing an increase in hostilites which in no way jeapordizes him and put others in harms way. As you yourself said, war is nothing to cheer. That’s why I think he should quit the verbal support and join in and help the action he finds so endearing.
